The financial statement on August 12, 2009, shows a beginning balance of $35,348.57 and an ending balance of $55,618.95 for a net increase of $20,270.38. This is partly because of the deposit of $5,000 back into the savings account, the zeroing out of the 2008 conference account and income for the 2009 conference of $7,902.91. The actual income for the year to date is $16,733.00, with expenses listing at $12,366.40. The chapter is $4,366.60 ahead for the year.
