The North Dakota Library Association’s Health Science Information Section met for their spring meeting on April 20th in Grand Forks. Our morning was spent with Holly Ann Burt from the GMR learning about the TOXNET® system including TOXLINE®, the Hazardous Substances Data Bank, the Integrated Risk Information System, the Toxic Release Inventory, and ChemIDplus. The HSIS business meeting was held in the afternoon. Topics discussed included plans for our fall program at the NDLA annual conference, scholarship applications for the Midwest Chapter Meeting award, a GMR update and needed bylaws and procedures updates. We enjoyed catching up with everyone since our last meeting in September 2006.
