The official site for the 2001 Joint Meeting of the Midwest Chapter of the Medical Library Association and the Wisconsin Health Science Library Association is the Wyndham Milwaukee Center Hotel.  Architecture is styled in the Flemish Renaissance tradition with interiors featuring ornate millwork and marble, reflecting the richness of classic European motifs.  The Wyndham is located in the heart of Milwaukee's downtown near many attractions.  As the elegant cornerstone of a $100 million multi-use development, the Wyndham Milwaukee Center rises 10 stories above Milwaukee's exciting Theater District.  The hotel is connected by a beautiful domed rotunda to the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, the Stackner Cabaret, and the Pabst Theater, a national historic landmark that provides musical and theatrical entertainment in an elegant setting.  Guest room amenities include iron and ironing boards in all rooms, cable channels and in-room movies, data ports, alarm clock/radio, coffee makers with complimentary coffee, hair dryers, shower massage, and Bath and Body Works toiletries.  There are two restaurants and a spacious lounge featuring live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings.  The hotel also has a fully equipped health club, safe-deposit boxes available, and a gift shop.  The hotel is newly renovated.
